DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS / SAFEPLACE

We will dispatch to an alternative shipping address from your billing address if required, but will carry out additional checks, where we deem it necessary to protect both ourselves and our customers.

It may be possible for parcels to be left in a secure place of your choice if you are not available to take your delivery. Please state your instructions when you order. However, the use of a secure place voids the proof of delivery protection and we regret that we cannot accept any claims for missing parcels in these instances.

Orders over the value of £170 must be signed for, however, and cannot be left in any secure place.

If an attempted delivery fails you will have 18 working days to collect the parcel from your local Delivery Office. If the parcel is not collected, it will be returned to us and the Return to Sender fee (£4) will be deducted from your Refund.

You will receive confirmation of your order's dispatch via email. You can track your parcel by logging on to http://www.royalmail.com/track-trace and entering your Tracking Number.

STORE COLLECTION

If you live locally, you can choose to have your order delivered to our BRIDLINGTON store by selecting ‘Collect in Store’ at the checkout. If you select this option the goods will be ready and waiting for you at our store, usually within 24 hours. This service is FREE.

You will be contacted by our store when your order is ready to pick up. Please bring the following items with you when collecting:

  • Proof of name & address
  • The Card used to make the payment

LOST GOODS

Any claims for lost goods cannot be entered into until after 15 working days from dispatch. Please note that if any items are returned to us by Royal Mail’s sorting office as uncollected, we will not provide a second delivery free of charge. We will contact the customer for the delivery charge before we dispatch it a second time.

CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel your order you can notify us by email at sales@marshallshoes.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you or where the goods have already been dispatched to you by returning goods to us in accordance with our returns policy.

RETURNS

We hope that you are happy with your goods. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us within 30 days of receipt.

The cost of returning purchases is the responsibility of the customer. The returned product must be in the same resaleable condition that you received it in & not show any signs of wear. The box should not be defaced or damaged in any way and we reserve the right to impose a £3 charge if the box is returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale.

All refunds will be issued within 7 days of receipt via the original payment method and you will be advised of the refund by email.

Any express postage charges will not be refunded. If you ordered more than one item and return any of them making the purchase price less than £40 (free shipping amount) then the shipping fee for orders less than £40 (£4.50) will be deducted from your refund. If a promotional discount, such as an exclusive online discount, was applied to your original order and you return any part of that order, Marshall Shoes reserves the right to withhold from any refund the amount of discount received, if the amended order no longer qualifies for that discount.

However, in order to make the returns process as easy as possible, customers have the option whilst shopping to purchase a £1 per item Pre-Paid UK Returns label. A label can only be purchased with a product. This allows you to return your items to us at no further cost. This option is not available for items under £40. The label will be delivered in your parcel and should be attached to your return parcel and taken to any post office. This label is only valid for the original order. It is non-transferable and non-refundable. It is for UK Mainland returns only.

If you choose not to purchase a Pre-paid returns label, we also offer an 'Easy Return' Label. If you elect to use this Tracked Returns Service, a charge of £3.50 will be deducted from your refund (per label used).

CHRISTMAS RETURNS POLICY

Purchases made between the 26th October & 7th December will have until the 14th January the following year to be returned. Purchases made after that have the standard 30 days.

The product must be in the same resalable condition that you received it in and not show any signs of wear. The box should not be defaced or damaged in any way and we reserve the right to impose a £3 charge (or otherwise where deemed appropriate) if the box is returned in a condition that we deem unacceptable for re-sale.

A tip for our international customers:

If you are returning your item you must write "merchandise returned" on the customs label when you complete it. Failure to do so will result in customs charging you and if these charges remain unpaid after 20 days the parcel will get 'returned to sender'

EXCHANGES (UK ORDERS ONLY)

We know that it is sometimes difficult to get the exact size when buying online which is why we offer an Exchange Policy. In addition to the free delivery we offer on the original purchase, we will also pay Royal Mail Tracked delivery on the exchanged item. Please note that we do not cover the cost of returning the item to us.

FAULTY / DAMAGED / INCORRECT GOODS

You must notify us of any product that you deem to be defective or not satisfactory within 7 days from the date of delivery. We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal usage conditions, failure to follow our instruction, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval. Please contact us before returning the product.

In the case of faulty/damaged goods, the goods will be inspected on return before a refund will be issued. A replacement or exchange may also be arranged instead of a refund at your request.

We are a secure website working with Sage pay.  We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods: - Online transactions ( secure server) and telephone. All Credit/Debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Electron, American Express and JCB. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of your order.
